A big welcome to the club for Dan and Charlie who have been taking part at JOGs.
Here is Dan introducing themselves:
I’m a science teacher at Bridgwater and Taunton College and am a veteran so used to orienteering as a training activity. Relocated to Somerset almost 9 years ago just before Charlie was born. Used to teach map reading to soldiers albeit over a decade ago. Also member of Running Forever Running Club based in Taunton.
Charlie is at Bishops Hull school, year 3. 30 junior park runs and two full park runs to date and enjoys his fitness. Favourite subject is chemistry and likes running and enjoying orienteering so far. Enjoys minecraft as everyone at that age seems to.
