Urban Orienteering

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, Covid19-induced changes to national access policies have forced us mostly onto the streets this term.
Now that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Urban orienteering can bring a real focus on fine map reading, and the examination of control descriptions, as well as building running speed.

So, we have made November a real focus on urban events (though we do still have a JOG in a lovely rural wood https://www.quantockorienteers.co.uk/events/crosslands-jog-7-2020-11-14).
You can see the schedule at https://www.quantockorienteers.co.uk/archive/november-is-urban-month
It includes one of our Street Series, something we’ve run for a few years now under various names.

So, who’s up for the urban challenge?
