Adam Fieldhouse excels at Longrun Meadow Parkrun.
Adam Fieldhouse started running the Longrun Meadow parkrun course in November 2019 and has run 20 runs, leading the field in 10 of these. He has a personal best of 17.05mins and has come 1st in his last 5 runs. He comes from a family of runners from Dulverton and runs an engineering business in Taunton. His other achievements include winning the Snowdon marathon in 2022, 15th at Edinburgh marathon 2024 with a time of 2:37:20. He also holds the Lemur loop course record of 12 x 10km laps (120km) in 11hrs 45 minutes, and won the Purbeck Challenge in 2025. Adam has qualified for the Ironman world championships to be held in Nice, France later this year.
Adam started his running at Wellington School and is a member of Quantock Orienteers, a small club that offers orienteering events in the Quantocks and Blackdown Hills. QO run an active Junior Orienteering Group (JOG) for 8 to 18 year olds that meet on Saturday afternoons in and around Taunton during the winter terms. An adult course is provided for parents and those who want to improve their navigating skills.
