Wondering if there’s any interest in a QO group attendance at the Orienteering Foundation’s South Wales Coaching Day on Sat, 8 November at Merthyr Mawr Warren (used for Day 1 of Croeso 2024) - South Wales Coaching Day 8th November 2025 - Orienteering Foundation. It looks like it could be a fun and rewarding event although we need to provide our own Coach (could ask Gavin Clegg maybe?) and could make a weekend of it as there’s also a Night Spring on 7 Nov at Baglan Burrows, 8 Nov - a Western Night League at Briton Ferry Woods and Sun 9 Nov 2025 Welsh League at Kenfig Burrows.
For anyone thinking this might clash with the Nov Classic that’s the weekend of 11 & 12 October this year.
Take a look and let me know if you’re interested. Happy to co-ordinate and look if there’s bunk or YHA accommodation nearby.
