The deadline to book the British Middle Distance Championships on 6th March is tomorrow (Sunday 13th Feb)
The event is being held in the Rushmere Country Park - a varied area of heathland and native woodland and currently holds an International Green Flag award for quality of parks and green spaces.

The day before is an event in Salcey Forest, between Milton Keynes and Northampton. This was my local forest for the first half of my life, so I can finally prove that my orienteering gets no better even when I know the area!!
