Not exactly orienteering but thought it may be of interest if you want a low key warm up for the Grizzly or simply fancy a longer trail run. This reminds me of the old Luppitt Lollop race and I dare say there will be a few opportunities to get lost in picturesque surroundings.
Described as a 16 (or 10) mile social run on the footpaths from Dunkeswell and you have to self navigate. The website has a route map and a gpx file will be available. A fellow Hydro club member ran it last year and a highlight was the included hot pasty part way round.
There were 90 plus entries at the time of writing, I’m not sure of the max number but it does sell out.
