Sunday’s event was a long distance at Bigland. Bigland is located to the southeast of the small village of Haverthwaite, on the Cartmel “peninsula”. The area is largely wooded and rises to just over 200m. On the western side there is a steep rocky and wooded slope that will be particularly challenging.
